A Path of Darkness by Large

In the Kingdom of Hitia'a, fully encompassing the continent of Dar Sennadin, lives a young man, dedicated to the Church of Erindel. This man has a tortured past, and what he has seen and experienced has made him a depressive and zealous man. He finds solace in delving deep into the Church and its beliefs to avoid the memories from previous events, but the deeply rooted issues left by a traumatic childhood have fractured his mind, giving him hallucinations and constant unrest.

Follow Trent, young squire to Hedros the Paladin, as they look for a shadowy killer that has been hunting down Priestrate members from the Holy Church, in a time of civil uncertainty, as the King, merely a figurehead, struggles to regain some power over the Council of Barons, and nearly every court member is vying for dominance.

A Path of Darkness is a classic rpg adventure about a journey: the party has a mission, they have to find a man who desecrated Erindel's temple. The game includes exploration and many battles, but there are also interesting dialogues that will show that even the good guys are imperfect human beings. Unfortunately the game ends with a cliffhanger.

Random Fact: originally the title of the game was "The Priest Killer". Anyway I think that the new title, A Path of Darkness, is much better.

Final Verdict: a Path of Darkness is pretty good, aside for some mediocre edits and the occasional mapping error (but it's a demo so I guess I should not be too severe). A competently made game with an interesting backstory that sadly wasn't completed. It reminds to me a lot of Blood Aegis, that I posted days before, due to a similar dark fantasy setting, and the dynamic of a party composed by a more experienced knight, and a younger apprentice protagonist.
