Can you survive the night? In this game you play as two hitmen, Psycho and Bruno, who have been assigned to kill a girl named Lara Ixora and
bring her corpse back to the one who assigned the hit. What they didn't
know is that if she dies then "the holy night of hybridization" will
occur in which every body (Except for SINners) will be replaced by
monsters to get rid of the killers. Of course this leads to an end of the world scenario where the body of Lara Ixora protects from the malevolent influence, and so the E.N.S.D. starts looking for the two men.
Meanwhile a special agent is dispatched to solve the crisis.
This is a second and last spin-off of the series, a sequel adventure that unfortunately is also the shortest demo, and ends with a cliffhanger leaving the story unresolved. Like the first two, the game uses mismatched graphics from various sources and offers a dark, linear, modern horror adventure.
Story and graphics seems to be much better than in the first game, but it lacks of the variety.
WARNING: this
is the last sequel/spin-off of AoP&P. So expect MA 17+ strong
language, nudity, violence, extreme blood & gore. Mild suggestive
themes.
Random Fact: one last adventure was made by the developer for a mapping contest and it was more or less linked to this series. The title? Red Moon Ritual. See below for this extra.
Final Verdict: probably the best game in the series for aestetic and story, it feels more coherent and interesting, a real pity this wasn't completed.
EXTRA - Red Moon Ritual: Swinging Baller and his associate are two hitmen that are wrongly summoned by some cultists. Trapped inside a doomed underground, the two will have to face terrible monsters to escape.
A short demo made for a Mapping contest. Contains:
- an introductive series of cutscenes
- one dungeon with combat encounters
- possibility to disable both combat encounters and cutscenes
This is also a demo for the game Red Moon Ritual, sadly never released.
