Sequel of the first game I posted here exactly a week ago, this stand alone game starts in a fantasy world: the protagonists are two, a necromancer witch and a knight that will become her protector in the subsequent battles against the forces of evil. The two are going to travel a lot through a fantastic land that blends fantasy with technology, since they will fight various knights, monsters, soldiers, a parody of Robocop, Kain from FFIV, and even an apache helicopter.
This time Aberrant has a main setting that parodies a lot Dark Souls (besides Persona, Robocop, Final Fantasy, Front Mission and other games and movies), and it's still a combat intensive Jprg with many battles and incredible monsters. The sprites and animations are really great, and the game is in the end a good sequel.
Random Fact: even if the cast is all new, the protagonists of the first game will make an appearance as secondary characters for a couple of scenes.
Final Verdict: an excellent sequel of a great game, the art is amazing as before and maybe even better, the game is pretty fun and quite bizarre. Those who enjoyed the first will like this one too.
