Until my Finest Hour by Bloodrose

Galandria has fallen and and Queen Jaraen fled from her country, the Orders have scattered throughout the Northlands under the belief that their honored Knightmaster DeWinter is long dead. In the midst of the turmoil is thrust a young slave girl named Thelanea, who knows of nothing else but how to survive on her own. She is thrown into a series of unfortunate events that eventually lead to a meeting with a woman who claims to be the missing Knightmaster DeWinter. Thelanea, now a beggar, joins DeWinter and the search for the lost Orders begins. Will the fabled Orders rally under a single banner once more?

Until my Finest Hour is another fantasy adventure set in Galandria, the game is a little more complex than the first one, anyway pay attention that it's a less refined demo and may crash especially consulting the new custom menu (that like before is used to manage the party but also has other options, like changing battle music). It uses the same avoidable enemy encounters plus unavoidable bosses, and the save point system, but adds some consumable items that can be used to save anythere, plus other features.

Random Fact: while the first game started with an intro featuring some bards, actors and storytellers and then immediately with chapter one, this prequel instead begins with a weapone selection choice (swords, maces, bows or polearms) and the option of watching a full intro or a shorter one. Apparently this was done because at the time older systems had issues with the tons of picture effects of the over the top intro. However the music seem to be missing and it also crashed, so I had to choose the short version, but it's cool anyway!

Final Verdict: this game tried to improve most aspect of the previous one, and I belieced that it partially succeded. I wasn't a fan of the new combat options, but on the other hand I found the visuals and cutscenes much more well done! A pity we didn't get a third game!
