You play as a girl named Stella, who has been invited to an event by her friend.
However, after a while of being there, she notices that this friend is nowhere to be seen. Could she possibly have left without her? While wondering, Stella stumbles upon a strange stairway… and she enters a bizarre world.

The Stairway is a one hour linear adventure, there is no horror content and it's more like a relaxing mystery/surreal visual novel: there are some simple puzzles, but nothing really complex, and the main focus is the story. The art is all custom, colorful and really cute.
Random Fact: the links poster here are for the english and spanish versions of the game, anyway there are other translations available: Russian, Portoguese, Korean and Vietnamese.
Final Verdict: a charming little game not without challenges, but they're pretty easy and I did not need the walkthrough. Anyway I liked some of these tasks, in particular a sort of "treasure hunt" set inside a single room where you find riddles about what you should examine to get the next hint and so on until you find what you need. Nice!
