The game takes place on the fantastic planet Aezzz populated by humans, elves and many different mystical creatures. The whole planet is a big single country and in its history were no wars, because all people signed the pact of friendship. The game story is focused on a strange thing named Mysterummy, which is passed to Trenz, the main protagonist of this game, from his parents. This unknown item seems to be capable to destroy the world and Trenz DOES NOT WANT to spend his life holding that thing, so he will try to get rid of it...
Legend of the Mysterummy is a sort of open world fantasy adventure with many possible endings, good and bad, the game has a day-and-night cycle where maps change depending on the time of the day, shops are in fact closed at night and the various characters change their locations depending on the time of the day. There are optional dungeons and battles, and some playable allies (4 in the demo, 6 in the planned version) that may also change the outcome of the history if brought along. The game is unfortunately incomplete but fun, and may take seven hours to be explored fully.
Random Fact: the game includes an unnamed young blonde girl that is an obvious reference to Usagi Tsukino, aka Sailor Moon. This is also confirmed by the presence of her brother, that's a reference to Samuel "Sammy" Tsukino.
Final Verdict: aside for some minor issues and imprecision due to its demo status, I found this game really fun and entertaining. The concept is an adventure where you have complete freedom, and that's pretty cool.
