Hundreds of years after the second adventure, Dagree (the dark elf) now has a daughter
(Colada) that he must protect from the hired hunters sent to destroy
her. Colada, being a human-elf hybrid, has yet to discover her true
self. To make matters worse, Dagree has fallen ill to a strange virus
and thus explains his new pale skin look.
Random Fact: in 2014 the author made also a little demo for a spin-off adventure whose beginning recalls the first game, but without the friendly slime Drip. However this time Dagree is all alone, and also the challenge and maps visited are pretty different from the first adventure, as Dagree will have to progress map after map facing different challenges. Anyway see below for this extra adventure of Dagree.
Final Verdict: an interesting demo, unfortunately very short. It's peculiar the choice to set this adventure centuries after the first games, meaning that Dagree will have to face cyborgs, and even find cars... because the old fantasy world has changed. Many ideas are fun, like the enemy robots displaying messages to insult the dark elf. Anyway it was cancelled at early development... what a pity!
EXTRA - Epic Elf the Darkset Tale: this spin-off adventure seems to be a prequel of the first game: Dagree just left the Dark Realm to visit the Earth Realm for the first time, and immediately find himself in trouble with the Deva Family, a powerful group that seems to possess celestial powers, and also hates the dark elves, of course. But there are also other challenges that Dagree will have to face...
A "on-the-road" adventure where Dagree has to traverse a series of maps solving puzzles and fighting battles, collecting loot, equipment and consumables, and eliminating roadblocks that the enemy will create to stop his progression. It's pretty simple but has some neat features, for example some "stronger" variant of the normal opponents use some edited charsets (like the Deva Scout below, complete with chains and wings).
Final Verdict: a return to the origins of Dagree, this was made between the first and second game. It's nothing really original or special, but if you liked the humor and you wanted more... well here it is!
